National Library Singapore
The National Library Board building at Victoria Street is a 16-storey state-of-the-art library with a 3-level basement situated in the heart of Singapore’s Arts, Culture, Learning and Entertainment hub. The building consists of two blocks which house the library collections and provide space for other public activities, including a 615-seat theatre.

The Screening Space
You can never have a film conference without it's own screenings. As part of the learning process the curator of The Screening Space has compiled a range of short films and videos to help enhance the participants' experience at Filmcamp
Among the categories of films being planned for showcase are short films, documentaries, music videos, etc. Participants and visitors of Filmcamp are welcome to enter and leave the space and rejoin the screening whenever they please without interrupting the rest.
Coming to Singapore

Airlines
It is not uncommon to find many visitors to Singapore use the services of budget airlines. Over the past 5 years, the quality of the services provided by budget airlines have improved.
If you're considering flying into Singapore on a budget airline, it isn't too difficult to find one, especially one from around the region of Southeast Asia. Here's a list (in alphabetical order) of some them, for you to begin with:
- Air Asia (From Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia)
- Cebu Airways (From the Philippines)
- Firefly (From Malaysia)
- JetStar (From Indonesia, Myanmar China, Taiwan, Thailand and Hong Kong)
- Lion Air (From Indonesia and Vietnam)
- Tiger Airways (From Vietnam, Thailand, China and India)
From the airport you can use Taxi (around S$20-S$30 to city), the subway (or "MRT" as it is known in Singapore) or Bus. If you are going to be staying in the city and arrive between 6AM and 11PM, the MRT is a cost-effective way to get to the city center.

Accomodation
A wide range of accommodation is available in Singapore. Check these hotel booking sites. Agoda.com, Wotif.com. Octopustravel seems to offer some of the best rates for hotels in Singapore.

Miscellaneous Costs
In addition to your accommodation, budget for another S$20 to S$30 per day for minor miscellaneous expenses.
Food
Local, regional and international food is easy to find in Singapore.
You can eat at "hawker centers" and "food courts" from 3$ onwards. Many
food places remain open 24 hours.
Halal food in Singapore - The Arab Street near the venue and the above mentioned hostel has lots of halal eateries around.

Internet and Mobile Phone Service
You can get a data only SIM card from Singtel. You will need your passport to buy the SIM card.
Singapore has the free Wireless@Sg citywide wi-fi network. You will need a mobile phone to receive the password once you register for it.
